Google Ads Resources for Therapists
Your next client is not choosing between you and the practice down the road. They are choosing between you and everything else on a search page at eleven at night. These five pieces are how we open that page up, and every one of them is built from an account we run.
One group practice, thirty days, $3,400 in ad spend
A group practice in Ontario. Every figure is on our results page, with the method behind it.
The shelf moved, and most practices did not move with it
The week you are having
Two open slots you have moved twice already. The referral you were counting on went somewhere else. The directory that used to send work has thinned out, and the panel pays less and takes longer to decide.
The week this toolkit is for
You know what a click costs in your city, which searches are worth paying for, what a filled slot is worth across a year, and what a client is worth over the months they stay. Then the search page stops being a lottery.
Take one piece, or take all five
Each piece stands on its own and each one can be read here for nothing. The pack is the five together, in the order we would work through them with a practice, as one document you keep and print. The value below is what a Google Ads consultant charges for the same work at the published rates for 2026.
| Piece | What is inside it | Value | On its own |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads for Therapists: A Practical Guide Open the walk through |
Seven sections, taken from our live session. How the search page works, what a practice should own, and how to read an account. | $200 | $39 |
| Google Ads Conversion Tracking Checklist for Therapists Open the checklist |
Fifteen checks across four stages, and the line between counting an inquiry and holding a client's details. | $250 | $39 |
| Google Ads Negative Keywords for Therapists Open the list |
Sixty three phrases in five groups, ready to paste into an account, with the crisis searches a practice must never bid on. | $150 | $39 |
| Google Ads Budget Guide for Therapists Open the table |
Six budgets from $500 to $5,000 a month, what each one produces, and the assumptions behind every number. | $150 | $39 |
| Therapy Practice Caseload Calculator Open the worksheet |
Six fields about your practice and six figures back, including what one filled slot is worth across a year. | $150 | $39 |
Every piece can be read on this site for nothing, starting with the guide. The pack is the five together in one document you keep, and it comes by email.

Some searches are not for sale
A person typing crisis language at two in the morning is not a client to bid on. That search belongs to a crisis line, and a paid ad in that moment is the wrong door. The list in this toolkit names those searches so a practice never pays for them.
What we never collect
The tools measure an inquiry, never a client. No name, no presenting issue, no session note, and nothing clinical leaves your practice for an ad platform. If that is not possible with a given tool, we do not use the tool.
We went from hoping the phone rings to knowing what a filled slot costs us. That number changed how we plan the whole year. A group practice owner, Ontario
A practice we run. The figures from their first month are on our results page.
Want the work done instead
We run Google Ads for a small number of therapy practices. One flat fee, no percentage of spend, and a report that shows what each inquiry cost.
