Advertising for therapy practices
Bing Remarketing Ads for Therapists
Microsoft Advertising offers remarketing, but mental-health visitor information needs a specific eligibility review. We assess the proposed audience and offer before recommending any campaign that would reach previous visitors.
Who this service is for
For practice owners reviewing Microsoft audience lists, imported remarketing settings, or a proposal to retarget counseling website visitors. An assessment can identify settings to remove as well as features that may be suitable.
Sensitive health information changes the assessment
Microsoft's remarketing guidance identifies anxiety, depression, and physical or emotional health as sensitive categories. The fact that a remarketing feature exists does not make every therapy visitor list eligible. We review the current rules and the actual information the audience would reveal.
Inspect the audience source and intended use
Review the Universal Event Tracking setup, existing lists, membership conditions, and campaigns using them. Imported audiences and automatically created settings need the same scrutiny as manually built ones. The review should establish what data is being collected and why the campaign needs it.
Assess the advertised offer separately
A professional training event, a nonclinical product, and a counseling appointment are different offers. Their landing pages and audience definitions need to match what is being advertised. A practice should not rename a therapy visitor segment to bypass a sensitive-data restriction.
Compare eligible Search and local options
If the proposed remarketing audience is unsuitable, a search campaign may still respond to people actively looking for an available service. We evaluate the keyword, destination, geography, and budget for that route. Another platform's audience rules should not be presented as a way around privacy limits.
Define the review and any subsequent media spend
Begin with an agreed assessment of tracking and audience settings. Only recommend media spending when the service and audience are eligible. Reports should distinguish inquiries, suitable consultations, and client starts rather than promising a return from every visitor who previously left the site.
Questions about Bing Remarketing Ads for Therapists
Does Bing allow what Google prohibits?
Each platform has its own rules. Microsoft also restricts sensitive-data use, including mental-health categories. A Google restriction is not a reason to assume an equivalent Microsoft audience is allowed.
Should we keep every imported audience?
No. Imports need review. Lists that are unnecessary, unsuitable, or ineligible should not be used simply because an import created them.
Can we review an account without launching ads?
Yes. An audience and tracking assessment can establish what is configured and which advertising options deserve further consideration.
