Advertising for therapy practices
Google PMAX Ads for Therapists
Performance Max, often called PMax, uses Google automation to distribute ads across several channels. We assess whether your practice has the measurement, creative, and budget needed to make that automation useful.
Who this service is for
For practices with dependable conversion measurement, a clear acquisition goal, and enough capacity to evaluate a campaign across placements. It needs closer consideration when a practice is still learning which services and inquiries are valuable.
One campaign can reach several Google channels
PMax can serve across Search, Maps, YouTube, Display, Discover, and Gmail. It is a campaign type within Google Ads rather than a separate advertising network. A result attributed to PMax should not automatically be described as a Search result or a Maps result. We explain the reporting available and where control is limited.
Give automation a conversion worth finding
A campaign optimized for every button click can learn to produce cheap button clicks. Before launch, we review the actions marked as primary conversions and check that they represent meaningful inquiries. Duplicate events, spam, and weak conversion definitions can distort decisions about where the campaign spends.
Prepare assets for the placements
Text, images, logos, video, and landing pages need to represent the practice accurately. Asset groups should have a coherent service focus. We review automated assets and destination settings so a campaign does not send visitors to an irrelevant page or make claims the practice has not approved.
Give PMax its own budget decision
A practice should understand what PMax is expected to add alongside Search. We consider existing branded traffic, the quality of inquiry data, and how much budget can be committed to a meaningful evaluation. A successful Search account is useful context, but it does not prove that a new automated campaign will improve client acquisition.
Apply health restrictions to audience signals
Automation does not remove sensitive-health advertising restrictions. Website visitor lists, customer data, and other advertiser-curated audiences require review and may be prohibited for therapy services. We assess allowed signals, location settings, and conversion data before making any campaign recommendation.
Questions about Google PMAX Ads for Therapists
Does PMax replace Search campaigns?
Not automatically. Search and PMax provide different controls and reporting. We assess their roles together and look for evidence that each campaign contributes useful inquiries.
Can PMax run only on Google Maps?
No. PMax is designed to work across Google inventory. Google does not offer a Maps-only serving option through these campaigns.
Will Google AI find the right clients without setup?
It still needs accurate goals, suitable assets, a relevant destination, and a defensible budget. The practice also needs to report which inquiries become suitable clients.
